Netgear a world wide leader in producing storage components has come up with another ReadyNAS Pro which is a business and enterprise level storage box. The ReadyNAS pro is developed on the vertically expandable ideology of storage which lets you expand the array from single hot swappable SATA drive upto 6 drives in the RAID mode that best suits your need. It uses Intel Core 2 duo CPU with 1GB of DDR2 to memory. There is another slot for the memory so that you can expand the memory. It has 2 USB ports for connectivity of HDD, Printers etc. It uses mini 80X power supply which is internal. The ports are of 2Gig each. Setting up of the ReadyNAS starts with the installation of the SATA drives. There is the provision of upgrading your drive from 1.5TB using three 500 GB drives to 6TB without having to power down a unit.
